Bresciano seals Palermo exit

Tongkat Warden

Mark Bresciano is set to leave Palermo after signing a two-year deal with Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr.

The 30-year-old Australia international was out of contract this summer and earlier this week admitted he wanted to move on after 11 years in Italy.

The former Empoli and Parma midfielder was linked with a move to England, possibly linking up with compatriots Vince Grella and Brett Emerton at Blackburn, but Bresciano has instead left for the Middle East.

Al Nassr appointed ex-Palermo coach Walter Zenga as their new boss on Tuesday after failing to win a trophy last season.
